AOGS is Category A Society of FOGSI (Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological Societies of India).

AOGS has hosted 4 All India Congress successfully, latest being AICOG 2017.

AOGS has been active in Public Awareness Programmes, Breast and Cervical Carcinoma Awareness and Screening Programmes and Post Graduate Learning Programmes on regular basis.

AOGS has many International and National Faculties/ Experts spanning every aspect of the subject, including Obstetrics, High risk Obstetrics, Endoscopy, Fetal Medicine, Oncogynecology, Adolescent Health and so on... We have FOGSI recognized Training centers run by many of our esteemed members.

AOGS has received 3 RCH awards, and 2 awards from FOGSI in form of Best Society Award and Presidential Appreciation Award.
